Meet Rusty! Rusty is a sweet, gentle and handsome soul who might be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—once he gets to know you, he’ll be your biggest snuggle buddy. It doesn’t take long for him to warm up, and when he does, he’s all about the cuddles and affection. He’s quiet and calm through the night, making him a great companion for bedtime.

Rusty is housebroken and crate trained, so he’s easy to manage at home. He’s lived harmoniously with kids in the past, and while he has lived with another dog previously, we think he’d do best with a slow introduction. He’s a little too interested in cats to live with them. With a low to medium energy level, Rusty enjoys calm walks and lounging, though he would definitely benefit from some continued leash training.
