Meet Rupert, the short legged, long body pup that's butt wiggles for days! He is about a year old and full of life. He is ready to make someone laugh until it hurts! Rupert enjoys long car rides and walks on the beach or the nearest trail. Dog play social groups are so much fun! He hasn't really met a dog he didn't like! Kids are awesome and a plus in Rupert's book, they are more friends to play and snuggle with! Cats, are scary and would prefer a home/yard with out them. If you're looking for a best friend, Rupert is the pup for you! Rupert is still young with Jack Russell energy and will need some basic leash skills and a place to burn his energy.

The adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
