RUCCI is a super cute and super fun Pit Bull mix! He is 2 years old and he weighs 68 lbs. Rucci is playful and silly! He absolutely loves to play with balls. He bats them around and pounces on them like a cat! Rucci knows how to sit pretty. He has the best smile and adorable wrinkles. He's a happy fun-loving guy and he'll be perfect for someone wanting an active companion.
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
