Hi, I'm Ruby and I'm a really sweet dog who gets along with other dogs and just ignores cats when I meet them. No kids in my foster home but with my sweet personality I bet I'd be great with considerate kids. I was found by an older couple who took me in even though I was just covered with fleas and had some hair loss. This family was just starting a medical procedure, so they asked SCP for help. I'm now in foster care with SCP and looking for a new home. I'm house and crate trained, and with my great disposition I'll be a great family pet! I really bond strongly to my person, like my foster dad. I whimper if I cannot see him. I will take very good care of my new forever person - I promise!

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
