Ruby Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Bull Terrier Mix Los Angeles, CA

Ruby is a sweet and funny girl who is around 25-30lbs and around 1 year old. She is smaller than she looks and is a perfect small to medium sized girl! She was found stray in the rain, running after someone’s car. The person stopped, took her in for the night, reached out to the shelter and no owner claimed her. We were happy to welcome this girl into rescue! We think she is some sort of unique mixed breed maybe of large and small.. and we are thinking Cattle dog/Terrier/Chihuahua mix of sorts!
Ruby’s bio:
-typical age appropriate energy overall, loves to fetch, loves bully sticks, loves to go for walks, spunky
-playful and very smart
-good with other dogs in her foster home
-absolutely loves to be around
people, very fun energy
-does great on leash
-working on potty and crate training is doing well, but will need continued work in the crate in a new setting and doesn’t make a potty mess in it
-friendly with everyone and loves to be pet
-loves to eat and enjoys treats
-loves toys and balls
-enjoys lounging and running in the yard and enjoys snoozing on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard
-will keep you laughing and smiling with her funny antics
-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments and on rides with her foster
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, and is on flea and tick preventatives
