You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ruby is a super sweet cavalier who came to SFCR as a breeder release.
She is loving life in foster care and learning all about what a dog's life should be.
Ruby does have a grade III heart murmur. Chest x-rays and an echocardiogram did not show any signs of heart enlargement or disease progression and heart medications are not needed at this time. This is something that will need to be monitored with x-rays and/or an echocardiogram every 6 months or so.
Ruby mingles very well with other dogs in her foster home and seems to really enjoy their company. She is working hard on her housetraining.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences.
Financially stable family willing and able to keep up with Ruby's cardio care.
Ruby would be happiest in a home with a canine companion.
Ruby has been spayed and also had a much needed dental with a total of 15 extractions. She tested negative for heartworm & tick-borne disease, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400 plus tax.
