Despite her timid nature caused by a difficult past, Ruby is a gentle soul just hoping for a kind, loving home.
While she may be cautious around strangers or sudden movements, once she feels safe and loved, Ruby becomes a total lap dog, seeking comfort and affection. All she needs are some gentle pets. She's a gentle soul who just wants to be held and hugged on (i.e. a human thunder jacket).
She's already making progress with leash training and does best on a harness. She is dog-friendly with dogs who give her time to adjust.
