Meet RUBEN (Neutered!)
RUBEN was on the waiting list to get into the shelter for several months through animal control. Yes, there is a waiting list! The people who found him had not been able to find his previous owner. In the meantime, they went ahead and got him neutered and vaccinated. As a result, he will be able to go home the same day that he is adopted! He is listed as a 2-year-old Australian shepherd mix and he has a beautiful black and white short hair coat. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment to meet this friendly, gentle fellow. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the appointment in case you do decide to adopt him. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
