Roxy #17 Golden Retriever Killingworth, CT

Roxy #17 is a 3.5-year-old purebred Golden Retriever who was born October 4, 2021 and weighs in at 52 lbs. This gorgeous girl is looking for her forever home where she will be loved and be part of a family. Roxy is friendly, sweet and playful. She is used to living with other dogs, so she needs a home with another dog to show her the way and to keep her company. She also would do best in a fenced in yard.

March 6, 2025 Update from Roxy's Foster Mom: "Roxy came to us almost two weeks ago, and in that short time we have seen her become a more confident, self-assured, happy little lady! Roxy is an incredibly sweet 3-year-old Golden Retriever with a heart full of love! She is as gentle as she is beautiful. She loves to be loved and is an excellent companion to our 3-year-old male Lab. Roxy enjoys playtime but is also content with a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the company of her family. She has discovered just how wonderful a soft bed can be! Roxy sleeps quietly all night in her crate and greets the morning with a wagging tail, all set for whatever adventures the day may bring. Roxy is a true gem with endless love to give."

ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.

Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
