Rowdy is a 10 year young Mini Australian Shepherd that came to us from breeder. He is hoping to spend his senior/ retirement years with a family who can give him lots of love and attention.
When he came to us his coat was very matted. The foster family gave him a good brushing and bath to get rid of all the hair mats with some mats that were so close to the skin, clipped out.
His mouth was filled with rotted teeth and the foster family soaked is hard food so it was soft and easier for him to eat.
Rowdy is already missing lots of teeth and the ones he has will probably be removed during his dental cleaning. The new family will need to continue soak his food to make it soft for him to eat.
Rowdy foster family has started to work with him on crate and house training, walking on a leash etc. The adopter will need to continue this routine and have the time to work with Rowdy to reach his full potential.
Rowdy has a great personality and has come around quickly to being with people and loves attention
All medical work is completed prior to adoption including neuter shots worming flea treatment rabies shot kennel cough micro chip dental cleaning and vet exam.
The adoption fee is $200 + tax with an approved application..the pre adoption application is available on the website www.prairiepawsrescue.com.
