Rotini - adopted! Keeshond & Border Collie Mix Minneapolis, MN

Rotini is a charmer! Lovingly nicknamed "Tini" or "Lovebug," she is the ultimate affectionate snuggler. Delightful mix of sweetness and puppy mischief; imagine cuddling on the couch, only to feel her gently swipe a slipper off your foot! She adores lounging on laps, gnawing on bully sticks, and batting her puppy eyes to melt every heart in sight. Her ears are hysterical! She was born in mid-October 2024, currently 20#. She is a mixy mix - we think Keeshond and Border Collie.

Rontini has a mellow vibe - she enjoys activity without being demanding. A routine of daily walks around the neighborhood is about right to keep her healthy. With an impressive “off switch,” she happily chills while her foster mom works at home. She’s a quick study –already knows her crate is a safe space to relax and is making SUPER progress with house training. Can’t wait to take her people to obedience classes and learn lots of new things.

The ideal home for Rotini has a calmer, stable environment without a lot of chaos. A family that is willing to invest in building confidence at her pace would be perfect. She thrives with positive reinforcement and patience. Dedicated socialization is important to ensure she matures into a happy, well-adjusted adult dog and can lead the active life she wants to lead. While she’s a bit timid in new environments (ex: navigating stairs and out on walks), her courage grows a little each day.

She wants a canine sibling who can model confidence and help her feel secure. Tini is gentle and easily redirected if chewing on something she should not. Older kids will find her to be a best friend and confidante. We think she would befriend kitties. At her young age, Rotini needs potty breaks every few hours. Families with physically fenced yards or a history of keeping dogs safe on leash are encouraged to apply for this beauty.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Rotini’s adoption fee is $550 + MN sales tax. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She will be spayed and microchipped at one of the vet clinics we work with at around 6 months of age. The cost of this procedure is included in her adoption fee.

All of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
