Rosie Mae has entered into our 8 week basic obedience training course. While there she will work on crate training, leash training and socialization. She will also learn basic commands such as: sit, stay, come, leave it, and heel. She will complete her training and be ready to go to her new home on November 12, 2024.
Hello, my name is Rosie Mae, and I am a very affectionate, gentle, and shy little girl. I am friendly, and I love to cuddle. I am a bit independent and enjoy my quiet time, but I also love to play. I am a bit shy and backward, so I am looking for a patient owner who can help me come out of my shell. It will take me a while to open up fully, but I promise that if you give me a chance, I will bring so much love into your life. I am not sure how I feel about other dogs, I came to my current caretakers as a stray. I am approximately 1-2 years old, vaccinated, spayed, negative for heartworm and Lyme. I would love to meet you and see if we could be a good match. If you have room in your heart and your home, please consider adopting me.

Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (DHPP), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm.
