Rosie Jack Russell Terrier Colchester, CT

Introducing Miss Rosie, an adorable little one year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who's as sweet as pie! She came to Ready for Rescue when her family could not provide for her needs due to personal circumstances. As a result, Rosie was sadly neglected. She was very scared when she showed up to her new foster home, but was all snuggles and cuddles within a few short days. She continues to be nervous around unknown people and will need some time to warm up, but once she does, she is the sweetest thing with lots of spunk, personality and lots of love and kisses to give!

Rosie has lived with other dogs and really enjoys engaging in exuberant play. She is a long-legged beauty with boundless energy. She very well may have been a gazelle in her past life as she runs with speed and grace! Rosie has recently discovered how much fun it is to chase after balls, but she hasn't quite caught on to the concept of bringing it back for another throw. She is very treat motivated and is working on learning basic commands (she has "sit" down pretty well!).

Rosie is housetrained and recently was introduced to walking on a harness. Give her a chance and she will quickly wiggle her way into your heart!

Rosie would do best being adopted along with her brother Reggie, although we will consider placement in a home with another friendly dog. Fully fenced yard required.
