Meet ROSIE
Rescued: 2-7-2023
Age at the time of rescue: 3 months old
Current weight: 28 pounds
She's a survivor! We received a 911 call when she was found abandoned in a remote building. This tiny puppy was screaming in pain and not able to move. She was laying on the floor, covered in garbage...helpless. She was rescued and immediately taken to the ER for X-rays. Although the evaluation showed no fractures, she would not move her front legs. We moved on to laser treatments and after 5 days, she was able to move her legs and begin walking. Sweet Rosie is a mellow & easy going. She passed our cat test as well. This adorable girl overcame some true emotional trauma at such a young age, we believe that she was simply shutting down when we rescued her. She's turned a corner and just needs a loving home to call her own. She's fully vetted, sterilized and ready to fly.
