Rosie Basenji & Border Collie Mix Manchester, CT

Rosie - a gentle soul with beautiful eyes. She is 2 years old and her weight is only 15 lbs.

Rosie was born in Korea, a country where dog’s life does not matter much. She was abandoned and left on the streets. She was pregnant when she came to the Rosie gave birth to three beautiful puppies, but only one survived. Her little boy is now happily adopted and lives in the US.

Rosie is low to mid energy dog who prefers cuddles and closeness to her human family. She loves people and when comfortable she gives kisses and spreads joy around her. However, she is timid around strangers. If a visitor comes to her house, she needs to adjust and come to say “Hi” on her own terms. She takes only a short time to warm up to women, but needs longer time to adjust to men. She lives with her foster family now and has excellent recommendations. Rosie is very friendly to dogs of all sizes, unless they are become too much, in which case she just moves away, back to her mom or dad’s loving arms. She is friendly to cats as well.
Rosie doesn’t have any separation anxiety issues and doesn’t destroy or chew stuff in the house. She is good with car rides but prefers short ones.
She is leash trained, however her parents need to be vigilant because she is sensitive to loud noises.
Rosie doesn’t like to be crated, but she is very good mannered little girl who can be trusted. Rosie is house trained and familiar with pee pad.

HW negative, has a clean bill of health, fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.
