Rose Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Phoenix, AZ

Here is what my foster mom says about me: Rose is the sweetest dog I've ever met. I can clip her nails, brush her teeth, pick her up, etc. She is truly a velcro dog and I would keep her if I did not have 3 of my own. She is deaf but is very aware of your body language and is very responsive to sign language. She is also very smart. She is happy as long as she's with you. She is happy to hike or sleep all day. The only hitch is that she is a 1-2 person dog. She will take a minute to warm up to you, but once she is bonded, she is in love. She will not do well with kids or people who are not respectful of her boundaries. You as an owner will need to learn her body language. I promise though she will be an incredible dog if you can be patient with her.

Hello, my name is Rose. My past has been challenging, and I am in search of a particular kind of home. My foster mom says I’m very sweet to her (like the sweetest dog she has ever met kinda sweet), and have a slight smell of Fritos. I am very loyal and prefer a small, close-knit circle. I am not comfortable around children, but I have been socialized with other dogs, but can be selective. Having been found abandoned with my offspring, I am longing for a loving and stable home. I form strong bonds with my human and am eager to meet my perfect match. A home with experienced heeler owners would be perfect for me.
