Meet ROSE
Rose is a 45 pound, 1 year old gorgeous Shepherd/Husky mix. She's playful, loving and energetic. She loves her tennis ball and is an excellent catcher. Rose just discovered how much fun she can have playing with a group of doggy friends. She got along so well with everyone. She loves to run…she is so fast!
She's a regular at the beach, likes the water and you can also see her on the trails as she loves to hike.
She would love a home with another dog who can show her the ropes. A home with a yard would be great. She's a smart, strong and active girl that is sweet and eager to learn. Her size of 45 pounds makes her perfectly portable. She can sit, lay down and shake however she needs a little help with leash training.
Her foster mom says, “Rose has an adorable personality. In the morning upon waking (she waits until I start to wake) she will be beside me on her hind legs with my slipper in her mouth. She'll smile at me with her eyes and maybe even give me a Roo Roo Roooo! The cutest thing ever.
She recently started helping me bring in stuff from the car. As soon as we park she grabs a hat or a shoe whatever she can find and holds it in her mouth until we get inside. ALL of this she's done on her own without prompting by me. She knows dozens of words by now. I LOVE the way she tilts her head left then right and back again when I'm talking to her. If she hears a new word, she's really all ears. Her eyes are so expressive and she loves to communicate."
Rose is all about fun and games, she also has a certain gentle side to her. She is accustomed to receiving kisses and cuddles and she happily returns the affection. However, she's timid in new situations and can be nervous outside.
She doesn't like loud and large vehicles like trash trucks. She's not a fan of parking lots either. She is slowly getting used to them and over time has come a long way. She's also timid around new people and needs time to warm up. Rose's person would be confident, active, patient and knowledgeable in training dogs. Someone who can help her feel secure and unleash her true potential.
If you're looking for a fun loving, ball-chasing, gorgeous pup, Rose is ready to
bring joy and laughter to her new forever home!
