14 week old Boxer/Am bulldog mix

Roscoe is a feisty little buddy. He's active, playful and full of beans. He is looking for a home that understands the muscle/power breed temperment and can provide him with rules, manners, and routine.
He is still learning while in foster care, but knows sit, down, come, watch me, walks decent on leash and is quiet in his crate. He does still have accidents, so his new family will need to understand that he will take some time to adjust to new routines and accidents are still expected at his age. We will be working more on his manners and socializing in foster care, and this will need to continue throughout his adult life. He is very food motivated and loves to chase his ball and play tug. He is currently learning to bring the ball back and drop it. Roscoe would love a playmate in his new home and an older dog that can help him learn how to be the best boy. He is currently in foster care with other dogs, children, and learning about cats and chickens. He does show a prey drive currently, so wpuld do best without small animals in his new home.

The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.
**For puppies under 6 months a $200 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.**
**Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**
***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***
