Rosalyn and her sibling, Jimmy (also up for adoption) started their journey in the toughest way--just 9 weeks old, covered in ticks, starving, and battling parasites when they wandered up to a barn in February. Facing a grim fate, PNE stepped in just in time to save them. After an urgent vet stay to treat their tick-borne illnesses, they moved into a loving foster home where they continued their fight for survival. And now they are local in New England!!

Despite a rough battle with parvo, these resilient pups bounced back and are now thriving! They are typical playful, cuddly, curious and rambunctious puppies. They play hard and nap harder. They love exploring outside and are responding great to potty training.

Puppy Adoption Fee: $600 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinicswhen requested.

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.

PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?
