Meet Rooster
Weight ~ 55 lbs
Rooster is tall but pretty slender, and very athletic. He has taken obedience training, and is pretty quick to learn. He knows a lot of basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, off, out, heel, come, paw, etc), but struggles sometimes with focusing on those commands if he's distracted. He's also crate trained (he loves it), and potty trained.
He's super sweet and loving, and very loyal to his people - but, like many herding dogs, he is very selective of his people and can be very anxious and nervous with new people and animals, even those he is genuinely excited to meet or play with!
Rooster would likely do really well in a home with a larger property with dedicated, experienced dog owners. He would be a great sidekick for any outdoor enthusiast, and would be super happy with someone that would keep him outside with them all day. He's very smart and highly trainable, and I think if given an opportunity to learn to do a "job" on someone's property, he would really thrive.
