Roo Mixed Breed Fort Bragg, CA

Have you ever seen a dog like Roo?! With her marbled gray coloring, bright blue eyes, and giant ears, Roo is simply one of a kind. Her favorite things in life include cuddling in her blankets, playing with alllll of the toys (she does not discriminate), playing fetch, and going on long walks where she can get some exercise and smell all the great scents along the way. She even loves baths and sits so nicely in the tub the whole time.

Her goofy personality really shines in the play yard when she can get out her zoomies and bathe in the sun. So, why hasn't this gorgeous sweetheart been adopted yet? Unfortunately, Roo came from rocky beginnings. She was originally rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas at four months old, but after just six months in her new home, her owners lost their housing and were unable to keep her. Growing up, she never received the stability and training that showed her how to behave and develop her best manners.

Roo is great with people and eager to make new friends wherever she goes. She is super smart and loves learning new tricks. She already knows "sit "down "shake and "high five." She's a good walker, and will do anything for food. Overall, Roo just needs someone confident and patient who can see her potential as an amazing dog, and work to bring out her best self. She would thrive as the only pet in the home, with people who can give her all the love and attention she craves. Once she has decompressed and adapted to her new environment, we think Roo will become the goofiest and most loveable companion!
