Meet Ronnie

Please welcome Ronnie! Ronnie is approximately 5 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He has quite a story to tell. He was in a city animal shelter with a badly fractured hind leg. They suspect he was hit by a car. He sat in that shelter untreated for 18 days before we became aware of him. Luckily we were able to rescue him on the day he was scheduled for euthanasia and immediately took him to an emergency vet hospital. It was determined that his leg had to be amputated. Still despite all he had been through, Ronnie was the sweetest boy! He recovered from the surgery in a wonderful foster home where he has doggie friends and gets along beautifully with them. Ronnie gets around with no trouble at all. He can go up and down stairs and loves to sunbathe in the yard. He is no different than any other dog despite only having 3 legs. Ronnie is house trained, friendly, a cuddle bug and would easily fit into any home. We have not had Ronnie around cats or small children.

If you are interested in adopting Ronnie and giving him the happy forever home he deserves, please first complete the adoption application at, www.greatpets.org. Ronnie's $300 adoption donation includes his vet exam, vaccinations, neuter surgery, flea control, dental cleaning, and microchip.
