O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo? Right here and looking for his Juliet! Meet Romeo, a 10-month-old male mixed breed, guessed to be a mix of beagle or basset hound and possibly retriever, weighing around 45 pounds at the time of intake and still growing. He came to the shelter as a stray on 10/28/24 and was never reclaimed. His original owner shared that he's done well with other dogs, cats, and children. If you have resident cats, the shelter can cat-test him to be sure. It's also recommended to bring any resident dogs in for a meet and greet to ensure they're a good match. Romeo has been around farm animals, like chickens, but didn't have the best interactions with them, so farm animals may be viewed as prey to him. This Montague is searching for his Capulet-could that be you? Romeo's ready to bring love and adventure into your life!
