Meet Rodrick! -14 week old male boxer mix -Brought to the Shelter as a stray so we do not know about his life before the Shelter -Has been social and sweet with staff and volunteers since his arrival -Looking to bond with his next family through +R training to learn life skills and manners such as leash walking and potty training. -May enjoy a dog friend in his next home Now through December 23rd the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting Home for the Holidays. This adoption event reduces the adoption fee for all cats, rabbits and dogs to $50. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
