Rocky Rat Terrier Mix Portland, OR

Rocky aka Skippy Von Doodle is looking for a forever family!  This sweet kid was found as a stray and needed help.  He has been in a foster family and doing very well.  Rocky is a super fun, energetic & athletic boy.  He is very smart and will thrive with continued training. 

We think he could excel with fly ball or agility too, and he literally can jump to the sky with those little legs. He loves a game of fetch and is really good at it! 

Rocky has done great with the dogs in the foster home.  He does live with cats but will chase them. He’s not mean, but he is a pest. He has a strong prey drive and loves to hunt lizards and bugs too. 

Rocky doesn’t give up an opportunity to cuddle. He loves to curl up with his people and dog friends. He wants to sleep in bed with his people at night, as he bonds very closely. He has been good with polite kids.

This guy gives the most adorable head tilts to noises.  He is a really good car rider and is up for adventures. In fact, he’s built for them! He has amazing endurance and would love to take long walks and or hike. It would benefit him to get out for walks daily.

Rocky loves toys and will offer up a play session to dogs or play independently.  He’d love another playful dog in his home, and he definitely needs a fenced yard to burn off his energy.

Rocky is just 10 lbs, likely a Jack Russell Terrier or rat terrier mix. He’s a little guy with a BIG personality and will keep you on your toes activity wise and with lots of laughs.  He’s so fun to be around. He is crate trained but not the kind dog to be left alone for hours.  He is estimated at 3 years old and house trained too.

Rocky is currently being fostered in San Antonio Texas but is ready to travel to the PNW for his FURever family. Rocky's adoption fee is $550 and includes transportation costs, neuter, up to date vaccinations and microchip.
