Rocco Boxer Carr, CO

Hey friends! I realized I haven’t officially introduced myself so here it goes:

I’m Rocco! I’m an easygoing 1.5 year old boxer mix. I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, and I’m only 60lbs! Some people say that I look bigger in my pictures than I am in real life—but I think I’m the perfect size!

I don’t mean to toot my own horn but everyone I have met has said what a good boy I am. Apparently I’m a “once in a lifetime dog”. My foster human even mentioned that I have a great temperament for a therapy dog which sounds fancy! Pretty cool, right? I’m a pretty low energy guy and I love to cuddle. I love to go on short walks although I get a little excited when I see other dogs on walks. I love riding in my foster families boat, you can find me snoozing the day away while we cruise around the water. I’m just an all-around good boy!

There are a few things my family should know about me:
- I have separation anxiety which means I panic when my humans leave; I reeeally need a family that will continue to work on this with me (my foster can tell you all about this)
- I love, love, love other dogs and I’d love to have another dog to play with in my new home
- I enjoy snuggling up to my humans and I hope my forever family will let me snuggle with them on the regular

Everyone says that I’m a really good boy and that I deserve the world! I’ve met so many kind humans in the past 6 months and I’ve loved meeting all of them but I’d really love to meet MY humans! I’ve heard stories about other shelter dogs finding their forever families… Gosh, that would just be the best thing ever?
