Meet Robin: A Survivor with So Much Love to Give
Robin is a sweet and resilient 1 to 2-year-old lab mix who has come a long way to find her forever family. Along with her sisters, Ruby and Reba, Robin was rescued from the streets of Arkansas, where she faced hunger, pregnancy, and heartworm disease. Despite these challenges, Robin’s gentle spirit never wavered. She made her way to Illinois, raised her puppies, and received treatment for heartworm. Now, she’s ready to start the next chapter of her life with a loving family who will cherish her as she deserves.
Robin’s Wonderful Traits:
Good with Other Dogs and Cats: Robin enjoys the company of other animals and fits in well with a furry family.
Friendly and Gentle Around Kids: She’s a great companion for families with children.
Active and Playful: Robin loves playing with toys and other dogs, showing off her playful side.
Potty Trained and Crate Trained: Robin is well-behaved in the house and needs just a little coaxing with a treat to enter her crate, where she settles quietly.
Affectionate: Robin is a snuggler who will boop you with her snoot for attention and loves being near you.
Great on a Leash: She walks nicely without pulling, making her a pleasure to take on walks.
Gentle: Robin takes treats with a soft mouth and is your loyal kitchen buddy, always ready to help clean up any crumbs.
Things We’re Working On:
Startled by Loud Noises: Robin can be startled by sudden loud sounds, so she needs a confident leader to reassure her.
Shy Around New People: She may be a little reserved when meeting new people but warms up quickly.
Basic Obedience: Like any young dog, Robin would benefit from continued training in basic commands.

Robin’s combination of gentle affection, playfulness, and loyalty makes her a wonderful companion. She’s ready to bring joy and love to her forever home, making her a perfect addition to any family.
