Ritz could be this happy and content in your loving home!! Look how loving and relaxed this amazing dog is in a home, and not in the noisy shelter!! Ritz is enjoying time in a foster home. Please email adoptions@friendshipapl.org to meet him!! He’s so worth it!!

Ritz is such a sweet boy!! He’s a very fun dog, active at times, but also has a calm demeanor. Ritz loves everyone he meets, including other dogs. He’s such a snuggler and quite the lap dog!! Ritz does want to chase the resident cats, not in a mean way, but does find them fun to chase. He’s honestly such a good dog!
Here at FAPL, we’re putting on the Ritz!! Sweet Ritz was adopted as a puppy, and back with us to find happiness once again. Ritz is an extremely loving guy. He was a bit too active for the young children in his home, so we recommend older children in his new home. Spend just a few minutes with this 6 year old gentleman, and Ritz is sure to snuggle his way right into your heart!! Ritz seems friendly with other dogs here at FAPL, and just desperately wants out of the shelter- and back in a home!
*If you visit the shelter and don’t see the particular animal you are looking for, please ask at the front desk.
No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am - 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance.
If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
