Meet Rio, a pocket sized boxer mix that is attentive and loyal to people.
Rio is a well-behaved dog who walks beautifully on a leash, needing only minimal corrections. Hes people-focused, often checking in with his handler during walks and around other dogs. He would love to go on hiking adventures or walks around the neighborhood. Rio could live in apartment due to his smart size and leash skills. But a home with a yard to roam in would be enjoyable for him too!
Rio is gentle and relaxed, accepting touch with ease and even allowing himself to be picked up and carried without fuss. He does well with a quick verbal correction and shows no signs of resource guarding affection. While he gets along fine with cats when theyre on the ground, he may chase them if they jump onto high surfaces, so a cat-free home would be ideal.
Rio is best suited for a home with a medium to low-energy dog or with a family where he can enjoy being both independent and affectionate. He would do well with kids and would make a great
