Riley Pit Bull Terrier & Boxer Mix Homer Glen, IL

Riley is 7 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Poor Riley was set to be euthanized. What a shame that would have been. She is such a sweet girl.
I love people and animals. I want to meet everyone. The best part of my day is greeting my family when they come home. I run to see my foster mom every time, unless it's evening and I've already gotten sleepy. I'll still say hello, but it's a little slower. Mom says it took me a few weeks to get used to living in a home, but I am doing very good now! Some times my nose gets the best of me and if there's something left out on the counter, I eat it. The family lost a few dozen eggs that way, oops. We started working on crate training about a week ago and I don't like it, I had a couple accidents at first, but now I don't. I go in easily for foster mom and she gives me a treat. I like that. I was a little thin when I arrived and I love all food! I am filling in nicely. I love the outdoors. I'll lay outside in the sun or by an open door on a nice day. I love being close so if I could lay on the couch with you, I'd be so happy! I like walks too, there are so many smells! I think I want to be friends with the kitties, I try, but they hiss and scare me so I leave them be. I'm sure we'll be friends soon! I can't wait to spend the rest of my days with you. Can you be my furever home?
