Riley is a one-year-old, 25-pound dog with a soft coat of fur that's a mix of black and white. Her big brown eyes are full of love and excitement. Despite her past as a stray, she is a lively and affectionate girl who loves to explore the world around her. Riley's enthusiasm for life is contagious, and she is always wagging her tail in excitement.
Although she has not yet learned any commands, Riley walks beautifully on a leash, and her energy and curiosity make her a joy to be around. She loves to play and run around with other dogs, and her happy-go-lucky personality always brings a smile to everyone's face.
Riley is a very affectionate dog who loves to be close to people, and she doesn't quite understand personal space. But her love and warmth are so genuine that it's hard not to fall in love with her.

Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information. We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Shelter public hours for visitation are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Applications can be emailed or faxed if requested. If coming from out of town, please call ahead to make sure the dog is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
