RAWL adopts by application process, not first come, first served. The application can be found on the RAWL website www.rawldogs.org. Out of state adopter will need to have a VERIFIABLE vet reference and be willing to come to the facility.
Rigi (REEGEE)
1 to 2 year old spayed female Saint Bernard/Pyrenees mix. Currently 90 pounds. Ideal weight 100.
Rigi came to RAWL as a stray. She had an ingrown chain, full of parasites, and her coat was a matted disaster. Although she has been through quite a lot, she is a sweet, kind, good-natured dog. She is fine with other dogs, hasn't met a person she doesn't like. She is housebroken, fantastic on a leash.
Her shortcoming? She loves being outside, like a husky loves being outside. She is content to be out all day. However, if left with a TV on in the house, this will entertain her for quite a while. Her favorite show? Modern family.
