Meet Ridley, a lovable one-year-old dog weighing in at 26 pounds. This charming canine has a heart of gold and loves to shower his affection on everyone he meets. Ridley has a reputation as a ladies' man, and his sweet demeanor has won many hearts since he arrived at the shelter as a stray. He has a calm and laid-back personality, which has made it easy for him to adjust to life in the shelter environment. Recently, Ridley has been enjoying playtime with other dogs and has been a patient and friendly companion. When he isn't playing, Ridley loves to go for walks on a leash and sit on people's laps, where he can bask in all the attention he deserves. He's a smart pup who knows the 'sit' command and responds well to it. Ridley is current on all his vaccines and has tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease, making him the perfect companion for any loving family.

Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information. We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Shelter public hours for visitation are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Applications can be emailed or faxed if requested. If coming from out of town, please call ahead to make sure the dog is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
