Hiiii! I’m Ricky! ( cavalier shitzu mix ? 19 pounds ) I am said to be about 7 years young, but have so much left to give someone! I am a really good boy in my foster mom’s home. I sleep all night with no kennel, potty outside where I’m supposed to, and follow all the rules of the house! I currently live with two other more high energy foster siblings which doesn’t bother me unless they get too rowdy too close to me! I prefer a more laid back playing style but as long as the dog/kids leave me be, I’ll be supervisor and make sure no one gets too crazy! I am the best boy for the groomer- that’s because she makes me beautiful! I am particularly fond of cuddling. I haven’t had much of a chance to experience it much in my life, but I’m learning what love is and I LOVE it! I am so enjoying being at my foster family’s house, but I would love to call a home my own. I’m a really good boy who just simply wants to sleep in a warm lap. I had a rough start to life but quickly realized that there’s so much more to life than that!

ADOPTION FEE: $400.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
