Meet Renesmee - Coming into rescue post HW treatment! (Early Oct.)

This is Renesmee. She is on the URGENT list at a shelter in SC for no reason other than being there for too long. The shelter is overcrowded and kennel space is desperately needed.
One Life To Live Rescue would like to help her. But, if we do offer rescue for Renesmee, she will need an adopter or a committed foster home to go to when she arrives in about a month or so.
Renesmee is a beautiful, smiling, sweet girl who is about 3 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. She is heartworm positive but we can have this treated prior to transport. Renesmee is listed as a terrier mix who is super dog friendly and REALLY loves people. Renesmee is always smiling. And she enjoyed her time out in play groups meeting both male and female dogs. Liam, an older teen pup, was wrestling and climbing on her back while Renesmee happily rolled and wrestled with him. She also enjoyed Autumn, meeting nicely and then going off leash to romp side by side. She enjoyed attention from the volunteers, smiling her entire time out in the play yard. Renesmee has not been cat tested yet but we can request that a test be done if needed. Caution would still need to be taken with cats even if she tests well at the sending shelter. Things are sometimes different in the home.
So the question is.......Who needs a house hippo? She’s the sweetest girl who hopes our bully lovers will want to take her home. Renesmee is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date with vaccinations. She will be treated for heartworm disease, and rested for one month, prior to transport. Her suggested adoption donation will be $350 in order to help with the cost of her vet bills. There is no cost involved with fostering. If you would like to foster, or adopt, Renesmee and help our rescue save her life.... please apply at OneLifeToRescue.com and one of our volunteers will be in touch to answer any questions that you might have or to discuss our very popular "Foster-to-Adopt" program. Please help us save this precious lady's life. Apply today!
