Remy Italian Greyhound Edgewater, MD

Remy is an absolutely stunning, five-year-old male blue/white Italian Greyhound . He has a cute upside down heart on the back of his neck.

He’s currently been in his foster home in Herndon, VA for one month. He gets along amazing with the 8 year old child and the two dogs, an Anatolian shepherd mix and another Italian greyhound. He enjoys running and playing out in the yard with his Anatolian sister or will chase and play ball. He loves to chase off anything in the yard like birds or squirrels.

He is a huge cuddle bug, what makes him the most happy is to being stuck to you on the couch or under the covers at night. He loves to sit at the top of the couch and look over the house and perch down. He loves to give kisses and will paw at you when wants attention.

Remy would be best with someone who is home full-time and has one or two other small or medium pets. Remy does have a small bladder so he does need to go out about every 2 to 3 hours. He does also typically get up once or twice a night to go out . I am still trying to teach him how to use a doggie door and he does have some accidents inside when it’s raining.

He is very food motivated, so he is very trainable and really does want to please. He does good on the leash on his walks. All in all he’s a very calm IG who prefers to be just loved on and snuggled.
