Meet Reggie: The Gentleman with a Prance, a Smile, and a Whole Lot of Charm

Introducing Reggie, the 1-2 year old mixed breed who’s got it all—looks, charm, and a prance that’ll make you smile every time you see it. This 77-pound heartthrob was saved from a crowded city shelter, and it’s safe to say we’re the lucky ones for getting him out of there. One look into his soulful eyes, and you’ll understand why Reggie is impossible to resist.

Reggie’s not just your average pup—he’s a true gentleman with a dainty, almost regal play style that’s as endearing as it gets. He’s perfectly balanced during playtime, showing off his play bows and spending some time with his belly up, letting everyone know he’s just here for a good time. When he’s in the yard, it’s like he’s got a little extra spring in his step, prancing around with joy that’s downright infectious. And speaking of infectious, his smile is always on, radiating pure happiness. We could watch him all day!

One of our favorite things is watching Reggie fling his toy across the yard and prance after it, always inviting his friends to join in on the fun. Whether it’s a game of fetch or just a playful romp, Reggie knows how to keep the good times rolling.

Currently, Reggie is living his best life in a foster home with five other pups, and let’s just say he’s the talk of the pack. He’s done brilliantly with every one of his furry housemates, blending right in whether it’s time for a play session or a lazy lounge on the couch. This guy’s a chameleon—he gets along with everyone and makes it look easy.

Reggie’s manners are top-notch. He’s house-trained, walks like a dream on a leash, and treats his crate like a luxury condo. Seriously, he loves his crate—it’s his personal retreat where he can catch some Zs or just take a break. No need to remind him; he’s got the routine down pat.

But don’t let his laid-back vibe fool you—Reggie’s got loyalty written all over him. When he managed to slip under the fence at his foster home, did he run off on an adventure? Nope. He stayed close because his people are his world. He’d love to share that world with a canine sibling, but he’s equally happy to soak up all the love as your one and only.

Reggie is also a fan of car rides, always eager to hop in and join his people on whatever adventure awaits. Whether it’s a quick trip to the store or a road trip, Reggie is just happy to be along for the ride, tail wagging the whole way.

And can we talk about those looks? Reggie’s slender build is complemented by a stunning coat of chocolate brown that fades into a sleek black snout, topped with a perfect patch of white right over his nose, chest and dipped paws. But it’s his eyes that really seal the deal—deep, soulful, and full of love just waiting to be shared.

Reggie’s the whole package—sweet, affectionate, well-mannered, and just the right amount of playful. Whether he’s prancing in the yard, flinging his toy with joy, snuggling up next to you, enjoying a car ride, or gently taking treats with the utmost care, Reggie is sure to make every moment with him special. Reggie is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
