Referral - Keifer German Shepherd Dog Broomfield, CO

Referral - Keifer is a 2.5-year-old girl who grew up in an environment where she was loved but left alone too much for the early stage of life. Due to never being socialized she was reactive towards strangers and other dogs. She's been in a board and train program for the last several weeks and has been learning to socialize with people, dogs, and kids. Her trainer says she's doing great but will need an experienced handler to continue on the right path. Keifer will need time to decompress and learn to trust her new family and would do best in a quiet home with outside adventures. Keifer’s person will need to have some patience and time to continue to work with her on her social skills and to keep up on her training. She loves to run, jump, and play, so her own backyard is a must. We do ask the kids to be in their teens as she does not realize how big she is. All Mixed Up is helping to find a good home that will be willing to work with Keifer and help her grow. We will be processing all applications for her caretaker.
