Meet Reese

This handsome guy is a 9 month old standard Australian shepherd who is making great strides in his foster home. He loves being in the house, comes up to get pets and ear scratches willingly and is very excited to play with his foster siblings. He is still working on leash training and is still timid with new people. He is warming up more quickly than before and is devoted to anyone who loves him and who he trusts. Because he is cautious we definitely think a home with a lower activity level will be better for him. He would love to have another dog to play with. He also needs someone who can train by being direct but who is not heavy handed as that will cause him to shut down. He is food and attention motivated and is smart as a whip.
