Reba Mixed Breed De Soto, IA

Hi! My name is Reba! My foster family says I'm basically the perfect dog, just have a few quirks, but don't we all? I am potty trained, crate trained, and know a few tricks like sit and shake! I still need some work on not pulling on the leash but I'm working on that! My favorite things are playing fetch, going on walks and runs, playing with my foster fur siblings, and most of all cuddling! Even though cuddling is my favorite, I still require quite a bit of exercise! I am a perfect mix of playful and lazy.



I really love other dogs and playing with other dogs. In fact, I'm more of a dog person than a people person until I really trust you. Because of that, I would love another confident dog in my forever home to help continue to build my confidence and to have a playmate to help burn some energy!



Nobody knows my past, but my foster parents think I was probably abused. I am most fearful of men. I do bite and run when I get really scared or startled, especially when someone enters the home unexpectedly. This is why I need a home with older children or a rescue dog savvy family. I need a family that will be patient and continue to work with me and also advocate for me. I promise I really am a perfect girl, I'm just working on getting over my trauma!
