Reba Beagle & Hound Mix Succasunna, NJ

The name Reba symbolizes family ties, connection, or a link. So it’s a very fitting name for this pretty girl, as all she longs for is a family she can grow close with and be loyal to for many years to come. Reba is a 4 month old mix puppy, possibly hound/boxer. We are unsure what her actual size may be once full grown, but we do know that this 20lb puppy has the biggest heart already!

According to her foster mom, Reba has “two speeds: playing and wresting with the other dog in the home, or sleeping curled up next to someone on the couch”. She loves toys, enjoys being outside, gets along with other dogs (even cats!), and is great with the young children in her foster home. She is super affectionate and aims to please. As she is a puppy, she’s working on house training, jumping (due to excitement), and pulling on the leash (also due to excitement). Her foster mom is seeing progress using positive reinforcement and redirection. She will need a family who is committed to continuing her training.

Reba would do well in a home where someone is home most of the day, or has the means to use a pet sitter/doggy daycare, etc. if working outside of the home. She does not like to be left alone for long periods, and as she is still a puppy requires frequent trips outside and exercise during the day. She’s an active girl who would love an equally active family to join on all their adventures.
