A few words from Reba's foster Mom:   Reba is a delightful dog and has really come a long way in the past two months. She entered foster care mid-January 2011 after a tough start in life in an Ohio puppy mill. While she was extremely timid at first, she is learning to trust and is definitely a happy little girl. She will likely always be a shy dog with people, but she really enjoys the company of other dogs and is eager to make friends. Reba has progressed from being 'dragged' on walks to loving the experience. She happily waits to have her harness put on and trots along by my side. Housetraining is is also progressing well. She has the occasional accident, but does her 'business' outside 90% of the time. With continued patience, she will no doubt be 'pee free' in the house in no time. Generally, Reba is very quiet and gentle, but when alarmed or in repsonse to other dog's excitement, she will use her big girl voice which is surprisingly loud for such a wee dog.   Reba will be an ideal addition to a home with another gentle dog. She does require a securely fenced yard as she will be a flight risk.
