Meet RAY

Home Fur Good fell in love with Ray at the county shelter. When his kennel was opened, Ray immediately showed his confident and outgoing attitude. He was willing to go with whoever opened his kennel and he was willing to enjoy whatever adventure was about to unfold. Ray is a three-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix. While he explores his surroundings, he likes to prance around and tease you. Just when you think he is coming over to snuggle up, he will put a smirk on his face and do an about-face. He is handsome and he knows you want to snuggle, but he has places to go and tasks to do. Ray has been introduced to other dogs and he is defensive at first but he warms up and is happy to romp around with others. If you are looking for an independent little man, give a call to meet Ray. The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment.
