Ranger German Shepherd Dog Bakersfield, CA

Meet Ranger, also known as Liberty! This little guy has come such a long way since being found at Liberty Park, completely defeated. With the help of a Good Samaritan, vet care, and generous donors, Ranger is now on the road to recovery. Hes around 5 months old, starting to gain weight, and finally enjoying life by playing with toys and chewing on his favorite bulky sticks.

Ranger is very food motivated, which is a huge help in his training. Hes learning to potty outside (with a few accidents here and there), but pooping is still a bit tricky since he has to walk while doing it. No big deal, were just happy he feels safe and loved! Ranger is a bit scared of fast movements, and were sure hes been hurt in the past. But with lots of positive reinforcement and patience, hes making progress every day. Hes even mastered commands like Come, Sit, Potty, and more. Plus, hes getting really good at snuggling!

Currently, Ranger is eating human-grade food in small portions to help him gain weight. We are raising funds for his upcoming vet visits, vaccines, special diet, potty pads, and neuter.
