Meet Ranger
Meet Ranger!

50 lbs
Meet Ranger, a one year old hound mix. This sweet boy will make a wonderful family dog! He is great with children and other dogs. He has been exposed to kids of all ages and dogs of all sizes and has done well, although he might be better suited for living with older kids. Ranger’s energy level is that of a typical hound - high! He loves to play fetch, go on walks and play with his foster fur siblings. While he does great on a leash, a fenced yard would be a plus so he can sniff some trails and run off some energy!
Ranger has done great with training. He is crate and house trained. He lets his foster family know he needs to go out and has very few accidents. He stays in his crate while left home alone, but sleeps free in his foster home at night. He knows basic commands and is very motivated to learn if treats are involved. He has responded great to using an ultrasonic trainer to help with barking and focusing on his training.
He loves the water, swimming and being outdoors. He even has gone camping with his foster family and done amazing!
At the end of the day, you’ll find him on the couch wanting to cuddle with his people. He can’t wait to find his forever home!
