Ranger! Great Pyrenees & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Roseville, CA

Ranger is a handsome, teddy bear of a pup. Estimated DOB is 6/2022 and he is about 70lbs. The litter DNA results show he is a Great Pyrenees/Pitty mix. Which is funny because he is built like a Basset Hound, colored like a Lab, and has a curly tail like a Husky. His litter was found living under an abandoned car when they were very young. He has been raised in a loving foster home, but is still a naturally shy boy and especially wary of strangers. He loves scratches and praise, and, of course, treats. He is learning to walk on a leash and is mostly potty trained with reminders.

Ranger loves playing with other friendly dogs and looks to them for leadership and confidence. So a forever home with a dog buddy would be ideal. He is strong and can play rough, so a dog his size or larger would be best. He is a little too excited about cats, so it would be better if we’re in a catless home. His forever family should be calm, patient and gentle with him to gain his trust and win his heart. An adult only home, or a home with children 12 and up would be best for Ranger. An apartment would not be ideal as he has a very loud bark and he enjoys leisurely sniffing around during potty breaks.
