Meet Ralphie
Introducing, Ralphie! He’s about 2 years old, 75 pounds and we have been calling him a St. Bernard mix but honestly, he’s probably a whole bunch of everything. We do agree that some kind of Livestock Guardian mix is possible though (think Pyrenees, Anatolians, etc.)
Anywho, this big guy was found swimming in the river down in the Atchison bottoms. So he loves water. Its presumed he was dumped, AC did a stray hold for 2 weeks. We love our friend Ralph but he probably is going to need a bit of basic obedience and learning his size. He can get a little jumpy and pushy sometimes when he gets real excited, he just wants to show you how much he loves you! He also pulls quite a bit on a leash. He seems to be the perfect mix of playful and low key and would probably make the best companion.
So far, Ralphie is perfectly fine with other dogs and shows interest in cats but has had no bad reactions.
