Like the most lip-licking BBQ sauce, I'm here to bring some sweetness to your life :) my name is Rae! Like Sweet Baby Rae herself.

I am a 3-year-old, 40-pound , loving, affectionate girl who was found emaciated and abandoned all by myself in the freezing cold. My sugary sweetness was the first thing my rescuers noticed about me! I was unable to walk on my own because I was so thin, but I had nothing but kisses for the team that saved me from that frosty corner.

I am house-trained, kennel-trained, and amazing on my leash. I don’t like to chew on your slippers or get into trouble, I'm the teacher's pet at all times! I am so well-mannered, I don't even need a kennel. My home skills are impeccable! I am kind to all creatures, human or non. I'm even polite to bugs! I would make an EXCELLENT service dog for an adult or child. My people are my everything and I am the best behaved girl there is!

I would love a home with a fenced yard for my zoomie-palooza's, but I am so paw-fect on my leash, that an apartment with an active family would be amazing too! I am content just to lounge at your feet and get silly when you do, too :)
I am a friend to cats, too, and have met loads of those frisky felines and they all love me! I do well with respectful children of all ages, big or small, tots or teens!
I play well with all dogs, I am calm with calm dogs, and I can wrestle with the best of them if your pup is more rambunctious!

I know “sit,” “down,” “go for a ride,” “go for a walk” and “bedtime.” I am a smart girl and a quick learner because food is a HUGE motivator.

Speaking of food… while I LOVE my meals, I have diabetes due to the incredible neglect that I survived, by a Christmas miracle! It's easy-peasy to manage when someone is willing to take me to the vet twice a year and give me my insulin! I eat twice a day without lots of treats in between, and can't skip meals or doses of my medicine, but it is a breeze for someone with a routine! I don’t mind my shots though, I will come to you and give you my paw and wait patiently for my injection (which is simple and easy to give!).

Please don't let that make you turn the page on my story, I have been waiting for you for all of my life!!!!!!!
