Rachel is a 2 year old, 54 pound Pit Bull Terrier mix. All of our dogs need love but Rachel really needs LOVE! You can tell she hasn't had enough of it in her life. At first she was suspicious of pets and hugs but now she wants more and more. She will be a totally devoted companion/best friend!
Adoption fees are $60, $30 or free. If the pet has been at the shelter more than 30 days, they are free. Check the INTAKE DATE on the adoption card to determine this. If the pet is 4 years of age or older OR if you adopt more than one pet, the fee is $30 for each pet. All others are $60. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 405-297-3100.
The dog/cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Use pet's ID # when inquiring.
