Meet Quinn! A pretty pit bull mix that will melt your heart with her big eyes and sweet personality. We estimate Quinn was born in the beginning of 2013 and she weighs about 65 pounds.
We rescued Quinn in March 2015 after she was picked up as a stray and very pregnant by the Yakima Humane Society. She had her puppies in foster care and they were all adopted as soon as they were old enough, but sadly Quinn is still waiting for her forever home to find her.
According to one of her puppies’ DNA test, the pups were 1/2 American Staffordshire Terrier, 1/4 Greyhound, and 1/4 Australian Shepherd. Since we don’t know what the puppies’ dad was, Quinn could be any of those three breeds.
Quinn is an affectionate, cuddly, goofy, medium energy lady. She has impeccable manners in the house and is responding to all of her leash and obedience training. She learns quickly and loves to please. She has even learned some cute tricks like shake and crawl and would love to show you!
Quinn is a little wary around some new men, but once she knows a person she’s an absolute lovebug!
She has some resource guarding with other dogs so she would do best in a home where she is the only dog, or with an owner who has experience with resource guarding and a very laid back canine sibling. We don't recommend Quinn go to a home with cats.
Quinn would do great with a confident dog owner willing to show her the ropes and continue her training.
Her energy level is medium, after a play session or a walk she’s content to chill around the house with you. Quinn is always up for an adventure and will make a great companion for her special person.
Quinn has an adoption fee of $225.
All of our dogs come to their adopters spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated as needed.
